Brent is doing so amazingly well. You would truly be proud of him. He is such a changed young man, in every aspect.
He has been working extremely hard at Grad School and his first semester he has come away with “2 A’s and an –A”. He is really enjoying the communications program and is looking at interning for a company possibly over the Christmas holidays in New York. He is also starting the process of sending out resumes to companies for interning this summer. Brent has now decided that he is going to put more into his course load and would like to try to complete school and graduate the winter of 2011 and not the spring of 2012. His Advisor is really pleased with how well Brent is doing and also feels he should be able to handle the extra course.
I know also what has really helped Brent is attending a school that is not in a big city, it’s quite small and he is 4 1/2 hours away from family and friends. He is very dedicated to completing Grad School and getting his degree in communications.
We are very proud of him and continue to be extremely thankful to you and what your program did for Brent and our family. I know Brent would not be were he is today if it had not been for our decision to send him out to Utah and to be apart of At The Crossroads program, and we thank you.
